I want to share the photos of this Triumphon gramophone. I bought it two years ago, and have spent considerable time restoring it. Normally, I don't like to strip a cabinet, but the finish was not possible to save, so I have removed the old finish, and applied layers of spirit dye, shellack and wax.
I have not been able to find this model listed anywhere, so I add it here for reference, since I am about to sell the machine since I simply don't have room for it. It will be sold in Norway, even if it very likely would have attracted more interest in Germany...
The machine is all original, double spring motor, but I have removed the anonymous soundbox that followed the machine, since it really was not good. Now a Goldring soundbox is attached to the machine, and it plays very well. The motor and cabinet have been completely disassembled before being put back together, so the machine is ready for decades of new use.
